A Changed World
As the world was being turned upside down by the COVID-19 pandemic, Patty grabbed opportunity by the bootstraps and decided to turn the construction world on its head by founding the first woman-owned concrete construction company to service southeastern Pennsylvania.
A New Breed of Labor
With an eye for untapped talent, Patty recruited a classically trained musician, a county sheriff, and her special-needs son to join Set Concrete Services for a chance to try something new. They tirelessly worked alongside the region's most skilled concrete craftsmen, honing their skills and casting the company's reputation.
An Innate Work Ethic
Never one to shy away from hard work, Patty's daughter also made herself known on many of the jobsites. Her natural abilities garnered the attention of customers and competition alike, ultimately helping the company grow and pursue new opportunities.
A Vision for the Future
With more than 30 years of construction experience, Patty knew her company needed to be more that just another concrete contractor. Her vision of success, which she constantly works to pass down to her children and grandchildren, is set in concrete: success is measured in how you serve others.
